A Lovely Southwood Hall Wedding Video

When a friend contacts you about their wedding at Southwood Hall, I can’t help but get a little bit excited.  I have known Matt for a very long time having played cricket with him for many years.  To get to be a part of his wedding day was a real honour.

Helen and Matthew had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in the grounds of Southwood Hall.  I arrived with Mark Ewels Photography to find Helen in The Cartshed Lodge and Matt in Southwood House.  A little bit of back and forth capturing the preparations.  It was soon time for Matt to make his way to the rotunda to wait for Helen.  I could feel the genuine nervous energy from Matt as he stood with his brother Stephen (or Hulk as I always knew him).

 A Guide To Planning Your Wedding At Southwood Hall

Southwood Hall is perfect for a wedding day walk in the gardens.  Helen and Matt thoroughly enjoyed some alone time together (well with a photographer and videographer in tow).  After some gorgeous food, we spotted the sun dipping and headed out to the local footpath for some epic golden hour light.

After the couples shoot we headed back in for the first dance.  Southwood Hall is a great space for your first dance.  The Joe Ringer band we on hand to create a real party atmosphere.

Last job of the day was to help Mark Ewels set up a rather special night shot.  Mark lit up the Southwood Hall Folly with these two special people in front.
