I started the day by hopping over to the couple’s home where I found a slightly nervous Dean waiting for me with some family members who had flown over from Wales (Via Amsterdam!) After some groom prep and son prep it was soon time to head over and find Rachel who was getting ready at a bed and breakfast near Thursford Garden Pavillion. The very talented Jo Jordan was on hair and Michelle Paton on makeup as the giggles were flowing.
I have yet to film a wedding at Thursford Garden Pavillion before and, as a wedding videographer, I always look forward to shooting at a new venue. As I arrived at the wedding venue, Dean was already in with the registrars and I could see the nerves through the glass.
Once Rachel started walking down the aisle you could see just how much these two mean to each other! A perfectly relaxed wedding ceremony typified these two as they are quite possibly one of the most chilled couples whose wedding I have ever filmed and that relaxed nature flowed through their day.
Wedding Breakfast was provided by Broadside Pizza, with Epic Event Hire providing the events staff before Nick Moore kicked off the children’s entertainment with his Moore Madness! While this was going on we snuck away and used the fairy lights that Thursford is famous for to capture some special night shots. The couple dancing to some good old fashioned Kisstory classics provided by A1 Mobile Discos, I must at this point thank them for playing Insomnia by Faithless as my own personal request!
It’s that time again! It’s Sixty Seconds of pure Awesomeness!!
