What is included in my wedding package

I only have one package called The Collection. I aim to make things as simple as possible. You receive an extended film of around 20minuites, a short form highlights film, your ceremony and speeches uncut. Without doubt, you will not miss out on any of the key parts of your special day. You can watch your wedding service or your groom’s speech as often as you like. Or you can watch and share your shorter films. Every moment of my films captures the celebrations of your event.

I have no time limits so I am onhand for the wedding preparations. On average I leave your venue around an hour after your first dance. However, if there is a rocking party happening you can often find me on the dancefloor amongst your wedding guests joining in the fun.

Is a videographer worth it for a wedding

Without doubt, I am biased on this one. If you are having an Essex wedding and wondering if having wedding videography is worth it. My answer is yes! I always say to couples it is really important to have a good wedding photographer.

With a photographer, you will get beautiful images of your special day, a nice album and a print for the wall. However, a great wedding videographer can transport you back to your wedding day. Having a special wedding film that encapsulates all the special details of your celebration. You can relive your ceremony, speeches and not to mention see people who may not be with you.

How Much Should I Pay for a Wedding Videographer in Essex?

With all wedding suppliers, videographers come in all different shapes and sizes. Experience and quality tend to be more expensive. With wedding films, you really do get what you pay for. Getting a few shots is one thing. Lovingly handcrafting a work of art that encapsulates all the emotion of your wedding day is another.

Everyone on social media will have an opinion of what you should spend on a wedding videography business. For me, I would always suggest thinking of at least budgeting an equal amount on your videographer as your photographer. On average, a videographer will charge more than a photographer of a similar standard due to the amount of post-production. Editing a wedding video takes a long time.

What does a videographer do at a wedding

A videographer on your special day will tend to arrive early during your preparation. They will capture you as you get ready alongside your wedding party. I tend to film the groom first before heading to the bride. This takes a little planning but is well worth it.

They will look to arrive at your ceremony venue in good time to set up multiple cameras. You want to make sure your Essex wedding videographer is setting up at least two cameras for your ceremony. They will join you for your couples shoot, working alongside your photographer. After that, they will capture your guests mingling and set up for speeches. Your videographer will set up multiple cameras and use microphones to capture your wedding speeches in the clearest way. You can relive that amazing packed dancefloor on your wedding film. Without doubt, you want to look at booking a wedding videographer who will be staying to capture some of the fun in the evening.

How Long Is a Typical Wedding Video?

Wedding videos can vary in length. Some videography companies will provide you with just a highlights film of around 5 minutes whilst others will offer a full 90min film. I would highly recommend looking for somewhere in the middle.

My package offers a 3-4minuites highlights film, a 20-25minutes main feature. However, you also receive a your ceremony and speeches uncut in the extras too. This means you can share the shorter films with your family but if you want to watch your wedding ceremony you can. The flexibility is in your hands.

How Many Wedding Videographers Do I Need?

90% of my weddings, I film on my own. One videographer can cover most weddings. That being said, if you want that little bit extra or if you are having a bigger wedding day then a second videographer is worth thinking about. I offer a second camera operator for the day as an extra if you require one.
